Emily L. Burkhardt is a Senior Research Associate in the Transportation and Safety Research Center with 20+ years of experience supporting research on transportation safety. Skilled in managing survey operations, Burkhardt specializes in using GIS and customized databases to establish, maintain, schedule, and map sampled sites; developing databases to track and report on project data; leading programming teams in support of efficient data collection and processing; overseeing the development of training materials; and managing the quality control of survey data.
